RAMBLING POOCHES SERVICES

The services I provide goes beyond standard dog care.

Due to my knowledge, experience and secure countryside location I am able to offer specialised services such as puppy pop-in, grooming, livestock training and vet visits, in addition to more familiar dog walking and holiday boarding.

I offer a personalised service for your dog as they each receive individual attention and Icustomise my services to meet each dog and owner's needs. Please find further details of the services we offer below.

PET SITTING

We provide a home from home service which gives your dog a second family. We love to give individual attention to all our dogs that come to stay. This is a service you can rely on and so feel confident and happy to leave your canine best friend at any time, whether it’s a weekend break or a two to three week stay. Your pooch will enjoy quality time with us at Rosehill Farm and will experience mental and physical stimulation. They will have acres to roam freely but safely, meeting the livestock - Shaun the sheep and his friends horses, pigs and hens, all part of our family. Please talk to us if you would like someone to come and pet sit in your own home.

DOG WALKING

While you continue with your busy life, Rambling Pooches provide an exceptional dog walking service that you can rely on at all times. We will collect your dog from your home and take them to our 38 acre farm to be exercised and have fun with their furry friends. We will also take them for days out to the beach and for woodland walks, returning them home safely at the end of the day, happy and content after their time out with Rambling Pooches. Water bowls will always be checked and filled with fresh water, wet dogs will be dried off, and we will feed and give medications if needed. Attentive care for your dog, peace of mind for you.

PUPPY POP-IN

Young puppies need extra time and attention in their early stages, so if you have to spend long periods of time away from home, whether at work or other days away, what do you do? At Rambling Pooches we solve the problem for you, as we offer a special puppy pop-in service for those young dogs not quite ready for the full service. We will:

• Come and let your puppy out for you, to help with the continuity of toilet training

• Spend quality time with them

• Facilitate small amounts of socialisation and training.

• We will also feed them and give lots of cuddles!

RAMBLING PUPPY

Once your pup is ready to meet other dogs, we have our own very well-socialised dogs of all shapes and sizes ready to show your puppy the big wide world. This helps give them confidence and good manners with other dogs and humans. Best of all, Rambling Pooches can offer your puppy the wonderful opportunity of meeting livestock in a controlled environment, at a young age. Your young dog will learn the art of being around sheep, rabbits, horses without the need to chase or worry them, which means that you can enjoy your country walks with the confidence that your puppy knows how to behave!

VET VISITS

Whether its time or available transport that is the problem, I can arrange to take your dog to the vet in my secure, specially adapted van. I take dogs for regular treatments such as acupuncture or just one off checkups. I also take dogs for hydrotherapy. This can be used for medicinal reasons including the strengthening of muscles, or dogs can be taken for the odd fun splash.

HOLIDAY STAYS

Dogs come to stay as part of the family in my home for the duration of your holiday. They are walked several times daily during their stay. Individual needs such as special dietary requirements can be catered for each dog. This is a service you can rely on and so feel confident and happy to leave your best friend at any time, whether it’s a weekend break or a two to three week stay.

Your hound will enjoy quality time with us at Rosehill Farm and will experience mental and physical stimulation. They will have acres to roam freely but safely, meeting the livestock - sheep, horses, pigs and hens, all part of our family. While at the farm, your pooch will have the freedom to run and play and relax while having quality time, basking in the sun or snoozing in the shade and having grooming sessions and cuddles, always under the loving watchful eye of myself or Josh.

We love to give individual attention to all our dogs that come to stay, have a close understanding of the dog and owner, and what their particular needs are. This enables us to provide a real home from home service, a second family for your dog, the next best thing to the owners'.

SOCIALISATION & TRAINING

Sometimes dogs need a little help with canine social niceties. Maybe they’ve had a bad experience in the past that has made them wary, or perhaps they have just never had the opportunity to learn how to get on with other dogs. With my wealth of experience in handling different dogs and their behaviours we can assist you and your dog to become more sociable and confident.

We also offer training for individuals and have dealt with many different problems including dog aggression, food aggression, and basic house-training. Recall is a particularly important (and potentially life-saving) element of basic training, therefore we can work with your dog to strengthen this area of behaviour if required.

As we run the business on our farm, we have the unique opportunity to train dogs with our livestock. Many dogs never get the opportunity to learn how to behave around farm animals such as horses, sheep, pigs and chickens. Good control when meeting livestock on your country walks keeps all animals concerned safe, and therefore we consider this to be an important part of training.

S

GROOMING

I arrange appointments and transport your dog to and from the groomers. I can either take them to my recommended groomer or to the place of your choice.

AT THE END OF THE DAY.... Dog are well exercised and ready to relax with their families
